Statement shared from Station 4 Baysville of the Huntsville Lake of Bays Fire Department
The annual fireworks display in Baysville, organized by the Station 4 Volunteer Fire Association, have been cancelled. This is due to provincial legislation that mandates specific safety zone and setback requirements that are no longer met at the Baysville Dam location. The Fireworks Team, who are licensed and solely responsible for the discharge of fireworks and mortars, must make sound safety decisions and adhere to provincial safety standards to maintain their licenses.
Our Building and By-law Department is excited to announce the launch of our Short-Term Rentals (STR) Web Map! This new tool provides an easy way for residents and visitors to find information about licensed short-term rental properties within our township.
