Please be advised that the IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As a result of the planned bike course, District Road 117 in Baysville will be restricted to traffic for the event, with vehicles rerouted through Bridge Street.

The annual fireworks display in Baysville, organized by the Station 4 Volunteer Fire Association, have been cancelled. This is due to provincial legislation that mandates specific safety zone and setback requirements that are no longer met at the Baysville Dam location. The Fireworks Team, who are licensed and solely responsible for the discharge of fireworks and mortars, must make sound safety decisions and adhere to provincial safety standards to maintain their licenses.
