Public Notice of Exemption To Noise Control By-Law for Muskoka Road 117 Property
Under Noise Control By-law 2021-029, an application under Section 13 has been received by Township staff.
The applicant is looking for an exemption from Schedule B, Item 3 under Section 10, which would allow for construction noise (Construction activity or operation of any equipment or device in connection with construction) for a continuous 24-hour period running for 5 days, (days to be determined upon successful winning contractors bid) within the period of Sept 3 – Sept 27, 2024, at the following location:
- Property located on Muskoka Road 117 between MR39 and Hwy 35, Township of Lake of Bays, District Municipality of Muskoka.
The following date and time apply to the exemption:
- Roadwork to install a new culvert liner to commence between the dates of September 3rd to September 27th, with a period of 5 days of continuous work on a 24-hour schedule (dates to be determined) starting on a Monday at 12:00 am until Friday 12:00 pm). Â
Comments on this exemption can be forwarded to the Licencing Coordinator on or before July 25, 2024, at 4:00 pm.
