Notice of Public Meeting: Amendments to Township of Lake of Bays Official Plan

TAKE NOTICE that a public meeting has been scheduled concerning Township-wide amendments to the Township Official Plan pertaining to Hillside Lot Size policies.

The purpose of this application is to remove policy G.235 of the Township of Lake of Bays Official Plan, which pertains to residential lot sizes in the Community of Hillside, such that the Community Planning Permit By-law 2021-111 is in conformity with the Official Plan.

The effect of the application would be to remove policy G.235 and re-number the remaining policies in section G accordingly. As well, the application would update policy G.27, which pertains to lot sizes in all communities, to incorporate District of Muskoka Official Plan policy respecting recreational water quality.
