Notice of Passing of By-law 2025-068
Heritage Designation By-law 2017-054 for the property located at 1154 Dwight Beach Road was amended by By-law 2025-068 to change the heritage title to William Hood Homestead.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays passed By-law 2025-068 being a by-law to amend By-law 2017-054, being a by-law to designate the property located on concession 10, part of lot 11, Township of Franklin, now in the Township of Lake of Bays; District Municipality of Muskoka and known municipally as 1154 Dwight Beach Road and being property Roll No. 4427-010-008-04900-0000, under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage.
AND TAKE NOTICE that an appeal of the this By-law for the Property by those persons permitted to appeal under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act may be made by submitting a Notice of Appeal with the Ontario Land Tribunal and Township Clerk, of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays, 1012 Dwight Beach Road, Dwight, ON, P0A 1H0 by 4:00 p.m. on or before May 9, 2025. The appeal package must be sent to the OLT and the attention of the Clerk, Township of Lake of Bays, A Notice of Appeal must set out the reasons for the objection to the Designation By-law. If you wish to appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT), forms are available from the Ontario Land Tribunal website.
