Notice of Intent To Dispose of Surplus Property (Glenmount Area) at April 8, 2025 Meeting

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays proposes to enact by-laws pursuant to Sections 9 and 35 of the Municipal Act, 2001 to:

(Title Rectification for lands in relation to Glenmount Road)

  1. close and sell that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 25, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 on Plan 35R-26518, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  2. close and retain that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 25, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Part 1 on Plan 35R-26518, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  3. close and sell that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 26, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Parts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 on Plan 35R-26519, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  4. close and retain that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 26, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Part 1 on Plan 35R-26519, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  5. close and sell that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 27, Concession 13, designated as Parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 on Plan 35R-26514 and in front of Lot 26, Concession 13, designated as Part 14 on Plan 35R-26514, former Township of Ridout, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  6. close and retain that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 27, Concession 13, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on Plan 35R-26514 and in front of Lot 26, Concession 13, designated as Part 13 on Plan 35R-26514, former Township of Ridout, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka,

  7. close and sell that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 25, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Part 2 on Plan 35R-25900, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka, and

  8. close and retain that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 25, Concession 13, former Township of Ridout, designated as Part 1 on Plan 35R-25900, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka.

The proposed by-laws will come before the Township of Lake of Bays Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in a hybrid setting (in-person and electronically), on the 8th day of April, 2025, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. o’clock, in the morning.
