TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays proposes to enact by-laws pursuant to Sections 9 and 35 of the Municipal Act, 2001 to:

  1. close and sell that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 19, Concession 5, former Township of Franklin, designated as Part 8 on Plan 35R-18882, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka, and
  2. close that part of the original shore road allowance lying in front of Lot 19, Concession 5, former Township of Franklin, designated as Part 7 on Plan 35R-18882, now in the Township of Lake of Bays, in the District Municipality of Muskoka.

Sale and Disposition of Land (SDL)

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lake of Bays proposes to enact by-laws pursuant to Section 270(1)1. of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, declared that Part of Lot 15, Concession 1, former Township of Franklin, now Township of Lake of Bays, District Municipality of Muskoka, designated as Part 1 on Plan 35R-27653, being all of PIN Parcel Register 48064-0395 (LT), as surplus and said land is being offered to the abutting property owner (Baker/Smith, owner of PIN Parcel Register 48064-0586 (LT) – corner of Muskoka Road 117 and Longline Lake Road) for a set price.


The proposed by-laws will come before the Township of Lake of Bays Council for consideration at its regular meeting to be held in a hybrid setting (in-person and electronically), on the 14th day of January, 2025, at the hour of 9:00 a.m. o’clock, in the morning.
