(Huntsville/Lake of Bays) The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department is gearing up for the 36th annual Project Porchlight Food Drive in support of the Salvation Army, on Wednesday, December 4. However, with snow in the forecast for Wednesday, we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate, even if we are unable to reach every home as planned.

To ensure that everyone can contribute, Huntsville Station 1 and all Lake of Bays Stations will be open for donations from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on December 3.

Donation Locations (6-9 p.m. on December 3):

  • Huntsville Fire Hall Station #1: 1 Payne Dr.
  • Lake of Bays Fire Halls: 1007 Limberlost Rd. and 1230 Fox Point Rd., and 12 University St. in Baysville

Additionally, you can drop off donations at the following locations during their operating hours:

  • Dean's Home Hardware: R. R. #1 South Mary Lake Road & Hwy. #11, Port Sydney, ON, P0B 1L0
  • Erika’s Bakery: 2832 ON-60, Dwight, ON, P0A 1H0

Your generosity is vital to supporting those in need this holiday season. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at our donation sites!
