Media Release: Bidding on Tenders Made Easy With New E-Procurement Platform

(LAKE OF BAYS, ON) In an effort to improve the way the Township does business, the Township of Lake of Bays is enhancing its current procurement processes by simplifying, streamlining and fostering greater competition through an e-procurement solution. An online submission process for bidding on tenders will enable suppliers to view, register and submit bids online through a user-friendly platform.

The e-procurement solution for bids and tenders is now live and can be accessed through the Township’s website. The Township is using a platform called bids&tenders, which facilitates a 100% digital, paperless, procurement process that allows for 24/7 access to bidding. This transition benefits both suppliers and the Township by reducing costs, lessening administrative burdens and encouraging greater competition.

“We are excited to launch our new e-procurement solution that will make bidding on tenders easier and faster for our valued suppliers.” Says Carrie Sykes, Director of Corporate Services/Clerk. “This is part of our ongoing commitment to improve the way we do business and deliver quality services to our residents.”
