The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department is looking for volunteer firefighters, and are launching their annual Volunteer Firefighter Recruitment Campaign on February 1, 2023. Earlier this week, Mayor Terry Glover and CAO Bryan Brown travelled to Toronto to attend the 2023 Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference.

The Township of Lake of Bays will be recognizing Alzheimer's Awareness Month with a flag-raising ceremony on January 9th at 10:00 a.m. in an effort to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease and support those affected by it.
